Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
- 1+ years of consistent sterile compounding experience.
- Ability to work onsite at 4620 S Sam Houston Parkway Houston, TX, Monday through Friday 7 AM–7 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterile compounding according to policy and regulations including USP 797 and USP 800.
- Maintain competency related to sterile compounding.
- Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including ordering, receiving, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding.
- Document cleaning and monitoring activities for sterile compounding areas (daily/weekly/monthly).
- Triage and respond to compounding needs within a team.
- Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding.
