Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support smooth pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, preparing medications, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate patient information for deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 0–6 months of relevant experience, and enrollment in required OCH training within 6 months. Candidates should have basic MS Office skills and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state).
• Successful enrollment and completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire (if licensure and/or training course is required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription refills and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning of materials/supplies and prescriptions.
• Answer basic patient questions and respond to basic patient requests to support experience.
• Receive/verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials; stock and store items; review expiration dates; identify shortages; pick and pack materials; track inventory in systems.
