Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Norcross, GA. The role focuses on directing pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with USP standards, and delivering high-quality patient care under established policies and laws.

The ideal candidate will have a PharmD or equivalent, active state licensure, at least 7 years of pharmacist experience (preferably in compounding) and strong leadership and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or R.Ph with clinical experience.
• Active state licensure.
• Post graduate training.
• Minimum 7 years pharmacist experience, preferably direct compounding.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Directs pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective operations.
• Demonstrates understanding of USP 797, USP 800, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversees compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services.
• Ensures compliance with licensing and standards by local, state, and federal agencies.
• Prepares prescriptions, solutions, and medications accurately and promptly.
• Assess patient, drug and disease information to identify real needs.
• Assists in patient care plan development and revisions.
• Oversees formulation preparation and supervises staff.
• Manages controlled substances handling and regulatory requirements.
• Interacts with physicians and referral sources as required.
• Provides drug information to sales force and supports team selling.
• Manages on-call schedule and covers as needed.
• Handles managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, payroll and performance reviews.
