Job summary

Kona Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for infusion/chemotherapy care in the Oncology Clinic & Infusion/Chemotherapy Center.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Hawaii RN license active at time of appointment.
• 1 year of professional nursing experience in inpatient med-surgical, critical care, or outpatient infusion/chemotherapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers required at appointment; ONS/ONCC chemotherapy/immunotherapy cert within six months if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care in the Infusion/Chemotherapy Center.
• Provide patient and family teaching.
• Supervise nursing assistants; collaborate with medical staff and departments.
