Job summary

You will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, collaborate with the care team, document in the EHR, and ensure safety. BSN preferred; active RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (state or multi-state compact).
• BSN preferred.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Knowledge of safety and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Administers medications and therapies per clinical protocols as needed.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
