Job summary

College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks an Oncology/Hematology/Outpatient Infusion RN for our busy infusion center in Sanford, NC. You will provide compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on teamwork and superior patient communication.

Requirements include one year of oncology/med-surg/critical care experience, BCLS, and an NC or compact RN license. Oncology certification is preferred, with some call weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in oncology, med/surg, or critical care required.
• Clinical certification is preferred (Oncology Certified Nurse / Cancer Chemotherapy Provider Certification).
• BCLS required.
• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient infusion center.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with the public.
• Strong interpersonal skills; call coverage including some weekends and holidays; good communication is essential.

Computer skills required. Successful applicant must be empathetic and professional in dealing with the public. Good communication skills are essential. Call and occassional weekends and holidays required.
