Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care from admission to discharge under the direction of the Nurse Director.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, graduation from an accredited nursing program, with BSN preferred; strong communication, prioritization, and computer skills; ONS chemo/biotherapy experience valued. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with 32 hours/week.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prioritization and organizational abilities.
• ONS chemo/biotherapy required. ONS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a professional by utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge.
• Incorporates general, age-specific and unit-specific competencies into the care provided and adheres to Marlborough Hospital standards and licensure requirements.
• Under general supervision of the department Director and CNO, supervises, executes, delegates and/or completes nursing care of patients.
