Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the New Orleans Home Infusion team. The part-time RN will apply nursing processes to patient care, assess educational needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state, is BLS certified, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with infusions and patient teaching is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN diploma is required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate and manage nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data to evaluate and promote changes to achieve optimal outcomes.
