Job summary

Option Care Health seeks an experienced Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and deliver intermediate patient care at home or in an infusion suite under a physician’s plan of care. You will ensure safety, continuity, and compliance under supervision, with strong communication to the clinical team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, education, and mentoring other nurses, while maintaining HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated competency in patient care standards and infusion skill sets.
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plans of care.
• Assesses patient needs and status at each visit and documents findings.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Educates patients and families to achieve independence with prescribed therapy.
• Ensures documentation and billing compliance, communicates with the clinical team.
