Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Nurse Clinician for the Glenview Infusion clinic on a casual, as-needed basis. The role supports vacation and sick-leave coverage with an 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday, in an ambulatory setting.

You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and organize patient education while upholding nursing standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Illinois.
• Certification in Basic CPR.
• Current experience within past five years or new nursing graduate within past two years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform nursing assessments and coordinate patient care.
• Initiate and coordinate patient education for the unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to plan care.
