Job summary

Option Care Health, the nation’s largest home and alternate site infusion provider, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Ambulatory Infusion Center in Columbia, SC. The NP delivers direct patient care, administers IV/IM/SC therapies, and develops infusion care plans.

You will credential for payer eligibility, coordinate with physicians, supervise infusion nurses, and participate in quality improvement. Requires NP degree, state license, board certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of infusion

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state.
• Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or applicable specialty).
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, hands-on patient care including assessments, physical exams, and treatment of infusion therapy-related conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications related to infusion care, in compliance with state regulations.
• Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and therapy-specific tests.
• Oversee IV, IM, and SC medication administration and monitor for adverse events.
• Create and update individualized infusion care plans and document in the EHR.
• Coordinate care with medical directors, referring physicians, and interdisciplinary staff.
