GI Alliance is seeking an Infusion Intake Specialist II to review infusion orders, verify patient benefits, and obtain prior authorizations to ensure timely payment for infusion services.

The role requires 3–5 years of infusion intake experience (4+ years for Level II) and strong knowledge of healthcare plans, CPT/ICD-10 terminology, and MS Office. Bilingual skills are a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of prior infusion intake experience is preferred.
• Prior intake experience related to infusion needed.

Aufgaben

• Review physician orders for infusion and verify patient benefits.
• Determine whether practice can buy & bill or if medication needs Specialty Pharmacy.
• Assist with foundation copay programs and obtain prior authorizations for infusion services.
• Submit paperwork and patient information to insurance and/or Specialty Pharmacy as required.
• Communicate patient financial information to billing staff and explain deductibles and copays.
