GI Alliance is seeking an experienced RN Infusion to provide professional nursing care, including assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of patient care. The RN will assist physicians, document care, manage medications (PO, IV, SC, IM), and maintain patient records and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in infusion, CPR certification, and a current RN license. BSN preferred and GI experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• RN degree; Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years professional nursing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year infusion experience in acute, outpatient, home and/or physician office setting.
• Gastroenterology experience preferred.
• Current state registered nurse license. Current CPR certificate. CRNI certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality. Documents health history, vital signs, chief complaint, and assesses disease condition.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers medications, and monitors patient progress; educates patients and families.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data using medical record forms/ systems.
• Maintains patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and results; maintains inventory of medications.
• Responds to/refers incoming treatment-related phone calls and maintains confidentiality.
• Administers all medications: PO, IV, SC, IM as prescribed.
• Coordinate and execute treatment plans for patients; schedule follow-up appointments; collaborate with GIA Research department; perform other duties as assigned.
