Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.
• Registered nurse licensure and BLS certification required.
• Must enroll in BSN program within two years if lacking BSN, and complete within seven years.
• North Carolina nursing license must be obtained within 90 days of start date if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care.
• Use nursing judgment to tailor care plan based on patient needs.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other staff.
• Serve as team leader or charge nurse for a unit.
• Monitor equipment and environment of care.
