Job summary

Duke Health’s Infusion Clinic 2A in Durham, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate infusion and injectable therapies, with a focus on safe, patient-centered care. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (or higher) or an ADN with BSN progression, BLS, and strong nursing judgment within a busy specialty clinic.

The position offers 36 hours per week, 3–12 hour shifts from 07:45 to 20:15, with rotating weekends at Duke Clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) required.
• ADN or Nursing Diploma acceptable with progress toward BSN.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong assessment, planning and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policy.
• Use nursing judgment to tailor care plan to patient needs.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or unit.
• Maintain environment of care and equipment resources.
• Engage in professional development and support staff training.
