Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a registered nurse for infusion clinic care. You will provide, document, and supervise nursing care, following physician orders and policies, while coordinating with the care team and ensuring patient safety.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher), NC RN license (BSN required within seven years if not initial BSN), and BLS certification. Relocation assistance may be available. Hours are typically Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) is required.
• All RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete within seven years.
• Candidates must have current RN license (NC compact license acceptable) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Individualize care plans based on patient assessment and responses to treatment.
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Act as team leader or charge nurse for a unit or group of patients.
• Monitor environment, equipment, and resources to ensure safety and quality.
• Engage in professional development and participate in performance improvement activities.
