Job summary

Kansas Health System in Great Bend is seeking an Ambulatory Clinic Registered Nurse with infusion experience to manage patient care in the infusion suite and ambulatory exams. You will assess patient data, coordinate treatment plans, and serve as a liaison between staff and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires ADN with RN licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of RN experience (1 year in infusion). Preference for BSN and multistate licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN required and at least 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year in infusion.
• Preferred BSN; licensure must be current and in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in ambulatory or infusion settings per nursing process.
• Reviews and communicates test results, supporting age-appropriate care planning.
• Responds to phone calls and documents treatment-related orders and forms.
• Educates patients and families on health care needs and self-administration of treatments.
• Performs IV-related procedures such as start/dc of peripheral IVs and line care.
