Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Unit Coordinator for GB Days at Great Bend Hospital. You will provide direct ambulatory care in infusion and exam settings, applying the nursing process to deliver safe IV therapies and coordinate patient care.

The role requires ADN with RN licensure and 2+ years of RN experience including infusion; BSN is preferred. BLS certification is required, and knowledge of IV therapy trends is expected.

• Familiarity with IV therapy and monitoring.
• Strong patient advocacy and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory infusion/exam areas.

• Administer IV medications and manage IV therapy.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and aftercare.
• Document care and coordinate with physicians and nurses.
