Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time nursing assistant in the Infusion Clinic. The role supports RNs in daily patient care, admissions, transfers, and discharges. You will assist with rounds, documentation, and coordinating treatments while floats to Southland infusion centers as needed.

The position requires a GED or HS diploma, BLS within 45 days, and 1–2 years of hospital experience. Expect 8/10 hour shifts and a patient-centered, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days of hire.
• Nurse Aide in good standing in state registry.
• 1–2 years hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility, vital signs, and documentation in EMR.
• Join admission, transfer, and discharge workflows under RN supervision and prepare rooms.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient/family needs to the RN.
• Support nutrition and skin care tasks; manage supplies and basic equipment.
• Coordinate tests and treatments with departments; maintain accurate records and charting.
