Novella Infusion in Marlborough, MA is hiring a detail-oriented Medical Assistant for a full-time role in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will provide administrative support, handle referrals, inventory, patient check-in/out, EMR maintenance, and lab processing. Requires a high school diploma; healthcare experience and EMR proficiency are preferred.

Pay ranges $21.00–$25.00 per hour with benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision, PTO and 401K.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting or healthcare administration is a plus.
• Healthcare administrative or medical assistant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: answer calls, respond to inquiries, relay messages.
• Referrals: manage patient referrals to specialists and follow-ups.
• Inventory Management: monitor and store supplies, place orders.
• Patient Interaction: check-in/out, verify insurance, collect payments.
• EMR Maintenance: document findings and appointments in EMR.
• Lab Work: prepare and process lab samples with proper labeling.
