Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting or healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare administrative or medical assistant role preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
• Must be proficient in office software and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support: answer calls, relay messages, and coordinate communications.
• Manage referrals and follow-ups, keeping patients informed on progress.
• Monitor inventory of medical and office supplies and place orders as needed.
• Greet patients, assist with check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and collect payments.
• Accurate EMR documentation of findings, appointments, and updates.
• Prepare and process lab samples with proper labeling and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant at Novella Infusion, you'll be an essential part of the patient experience, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional care:
