The role involves front desk duties, measuring weights and vital signs, and assisting with transfers and scheduling. It requires 0–1 years of healthcare experience or relevant certifications, with a rotating Saturday schedule.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• MA, EMT, CNA, LNA certificate or diploma; or at least 5 months of direct patient care experience in a clinical or research setting.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and assist with check-in.
• Escort patients to the infusion area.
• Obtain and document patient weights and vital signs.
• Remove IVs as directed by the nursing team.
• Assist with patient transfers when needed.
• Communicate patient needs and relevant information to nurses.
• Schedule appointments, diagnostic services, and laboratory testing.
• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments and support billing documentation.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications.
• Prepare schedules, patient charts, and other required documents.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate professionally by phone and in person.
