Job summary

Atrium Health Infusion Center – Kenilworth Infusion Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled RN for outpatient infusion care. The role focuses on administering infusion therapies, monitoring patients, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements include an active RN license and BLS certification; BSN is preferred. 2–3 years of acute care or infusion experience is favored. This position offers a sign-on bonus and a 4-day workweek schedule.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.

• Experience in infusion therapy.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed non-oncology infusion therapies, including biologics, IV antibiotics, hydration, immunoglobulins, osteoporosis medications, and other specialty infusions.
• Verifies medication orders, dosing, allergies, and treatment plans according to organizational policies.
• Initiates and maintains peripheral IV access and manages central venous access devices as appropriate.
• Monitors patients for infusion-related reactions, adverse events, and changes in clinical status.
• Provides education to patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care.
• Documents assessments, treatments, patient responses, and education provided in the electronic health record.
