Advocate Health Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Center. This outpatient role involves 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts, and working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary infusion clinic.

The RN will administer non-oncology infusions, verify orders, monitor patients, educate families, and document care in the electronic health record. BLS is required and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in infusion therapy.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Administers prescribed non-oncology infusion therapies.
• Verifies medication orders, dosing, allergies, and treatment plans.
• Initiates and maintains peripheral IV access and manages central venous access devices as appropriate.
• Monitors patients for infusion-related reactions and adverse events.
• Provides immediate intervention for hypersensitivity reactions and infusion complications.
• Educates patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and side effects.
• Documents assessments, treatments and education in the EHR.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacists and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensures safe medication handling and storage.
