Job summary

Stamford Health is hiring a Full-time Infusion Staff RN on the DAY SHIFT for the Infusion Center in Stamford, CT. The position features four 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, supervise non-RN staff, and precept new team members while upholding our Planetree-inspired, patient-centered culture. The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS, and a minimum of 3 years acute care experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut (CT).
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience.
• PICC experience preferred.
• CRNI or VA-BC certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following standards of practice.
• Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff.
• Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role.
• Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested.
• Adhere to Stamford Hospital’s policies and procedures.
• Practice patient safety and document care accurately.
• Maintain equipment and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Participate in clinical research activities and regulatory readiness.
