Job summary

Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis seeks an Infusion Staff Nurse II to provide clinical care and coordinate patient care within the Synergy Model. You will support safe, compassionate care and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

Requirements include Indiana RN license, current BLS, and Oncology certifications (ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider and OCN). A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is expected, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana license as a Registered Nurse.
• RN degree from a nationally accredited college or university.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience; must obtain ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Certificate by 12 months from date of hire.
• Must obtain OCN certification by 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing care to infusion patients and coordinate with care teams.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective communication to promote patient safety and quality care.
• Engage patients and families with appropriate information and education.
• Document care and maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in staffing and patient throughput as needed.
