Job summary

Endeavor Health Cancer Center – Plainfield, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (Oncology) for a full-time position. You will provide compassionate nursing care on a designated unit, using the nursing process to plan and evaluate patient care while guiding support staff.

The role requires IL RN licensure, an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), CPR certification, and at least 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience; ED/ICU/PACU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
• Education: Associate’s in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association; OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; ED/ICU/PACU experience highly preferred if no oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
