Job summary

Amerita is seeking a Clinical Educator in the Austin, TX area to guide patient education and transition planning for home and alternate-site infusion care. Ideal candidates will have an RN license with 3+ years in clinical settings, experience in adult education, and willingness to travel locally.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Experience in adult education or healthcare education preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and staff on Amerita services and infusion therapies.
• Provide in-person and virtual education for safe therapy initiation and independence.
• Assess patients to determine home infusion or alternate-site placement.
• Document education and clinical interactions accurately in company systems.
• Support development of patient education materials and communication tools.
• Coordinate transitions from hospital to home with facility staff and internal teams.
