Job summary

Amerita in Austin is seeking an RN Infusion Clinical Specialist to deliver direct patient care and education across home and alternate-site infusion services. You will work with nursing, pharmacy, and sales teams to ensure safe therapy initiation and seamless transitions.

The role requires an RN license with 3+ years of clinical experience; infusion therapy expertise is strongly preferred. PRN schedule with travel to patient homes is expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required with state registration.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Experience in adult education or healthcare education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Amerita policies, state regulations, INS standards, and CDC guidelines.
• Assesses patients and develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
• Performs infusion therapy, including management of vascular access devices (as certified).
• Educates patients and caregivers on infusion therapies, medications, and device management.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation.
