Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and billing regulations.
• Strong infusion billing knowledge including biologic and specialty meds, J-code billing, and payer requirements.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer billing rules.
• Read, write and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process medical claims daily with correct CPT/HCPCS/infusion codes.
• Prepare and submit claims for infusion services and biologic meds including J-codes.
• Review claims for accuracy and payer-specific compliance.
• Verify prior authorizations and referrals before submission.
• Maintain billing within a 15-day cycle and handle 80–100 daily claims.
• Resolve denials and resubmit corrected claims as needed.
• Follow up with insurers on unpaid/denied claims.
• Document thorough notes and assist with reports.
