Option Care Health is seeking aBilling/Revenue CycleVerifications professional in Illinois to verify patient insurance coverage and determine patient responsibilities. You will document drug and service authorizations, obtain initial and subsequent authorizations, and review payer guidelines to support patient access to care.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, use of Excel/Word, and collaboration with clinicians and payers.

Formación

• High School Diploma with 2 years of experience in patient registration or revenue cycle management.
• 1 year of similar experience with an Associate’s Degree, LPN or Pharm Tech license.

Responsabilidades

• Performs Insurance Verification of benefit coverage for each service.
• Documents coinsurance, copay, deductibles, and authorization requirements.
• Determines estimated patient financial responsibility using payer contracts and self-pay guidelines.
• Obtains initial authorization prior to admitting the patient for services.
• Obtains reauthorization as necessary and reviews orders for authorization needs.
