Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Developer with Infrastructure Tool Kit (JTK) experience to develop and maintain USPS systems code. This full-time role is remote within the United States, with a focus on secure, scalable delivery platforms.

The ideal candidate has a Public Trust clearance and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC, Change and Configuration Management, and ALM tools such as VersionOne and ServiceNow, along with modern DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of experience.
• Must have Public Trust clearance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc).
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning and prepare specifications and diagrams as needed.
• Design, code, test, and debug programs using ITK languages.
• Adhere to USPS development standards and data security procedures.
• Maintain contact with team leader, customers, contractors and vendors.
• Maintain and rewrite programs and documentation as needed.

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Developer with Infrastructure Tool Kit (JTK) experienceto develop and maintain systems code for the United States Postal Service (USPS). This position will be will be fully remote within the United States. The ideal candidate should possess a Public Trust clearance, knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies, SDLC practices, Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc), and Applacation Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Responsibilities

List of tasks to be performed:

• Participate in the project planning process that determines programming and hardware needs. Assist or lead in preparing programming specifications and in developing coding logic. Prepare charts, diagrams, and other documentation as needed.
• Design, code, test, and debug computer programs, independently or as part of a team, using computer languages identified and available in the Infrastructure Tool Kit (ITK).
• Adhere to consistent utilization of USPS development standards, procedures and processes. Ensure systems compatibility. Follow data security procedures and identify potential data security risks.
• Maintain contact, as designated, with the team leader, customers, contractors, and equipment vendors to monitor progress and coordinate varied project stages.
• Maintain computer programs and systems. Revise and update computer programs, procedures, and systems; including rewrites to the systems documentation and instructions, as necessary.
• Performs other job-related tasks as assigned or required to support the duties outlined above.

Qualifications
