Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Technician in New Albany, OH to install, test, service, and decommission structured cabling systems and related data center infrastructure. This full-time, contract-to-hire role requires following project drawings and industry standards with safety and precision.

You will collaborate with peers, travel to other sites within the U.S. as needed, and contribute to a positive team culture while ensuring work quality and completion on schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of telecom/structured cabling experience
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Openness to travel and support other sites within the U.S. as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, test, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including fiber optics, copper, communications, and other low voltage systems
• Build and remove cabinets, racks, cable trays, pathways, and related data center infrastructure
• Perform physical installations and removals with precision, safety, and attention to detail
• Follow instructions carefully while working with strong independence
• Comfortable teaching and learning from peers; contributes positively to team culture
• Distinguish color for cable identification
• Proficient with telecom and construction hand tools, safely and effectively
• Read and follow project drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines
• Apply broad understanding of structured cabling installation, routing, labeling, and commissioning
• Ensure installations meet design intent, customer requirements, and industry standards
• Help plan materials, tools, and tasks to keep projects moving smoothly

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Infrastructure Technician.

Position type: Full-time, Contract to Hire
Duration: 06 Months
Location: New Albany, OH

As an Infrastructure Technician you will:

• Install, test, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including fiber optics, copper, communications, and other low voltage systems.
• Build and remove cabinets, racks, cable trays, pathways, and related data center infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Data center experience.
• OSHA10.
• FOA certifications, BICSI cabling certifications, or similar credentials.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range

Pay Range*: $27 to $29/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
