Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United States seeks a Tech Risk & Controls Lead in Infrastructure Platforms to identify and mitigate technology risks and uphold operational excellence.

You will drive root-cause analysis, validate issue remediation, and govern control testing and issue lifecycle processes. You will partner with Product Owners, Governance teams, and Regulators, providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance to ensure controls operate effectively and compliantly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technology risk management, IA, or related governance with risk evaluation and issue management.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support risk/control workflows.
• Ability to validate AI-assisted risk summaries, align with security and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on testing of control design and operating effectiveness with evidence.
• Strong root-cause analysis to distinguish remediation from symptoms.
• Familiarity with full issue lifecycle in a regulated financial institution.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate risk insights into actionable recommendations with executive impact.
• Clear written communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, communicate, and manage technology risk with root-cause resolution focus.
• Validate issue remediation and closure readiness with tested action plans.
• Review issue lifecycle documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and evaluate control design and operating effectiveness; recommend improvements.
• Assess residual risk and suggest compensating controls for gaps.
• Utilize AI capabilities to accelerate risk evidence synthesis and reporting.
• Build relationships with LOB technologists, governance teams, TRC partners.
• Report on controls, policies, and remediation trends for senior management.
• Promote AI-assisted, reusable testing and remediation approaches with human review.
• Improve TRC standards, testing procedures, and playbooks over time.
