Job summary

GIGATEC Engineering seeks a Systems Engineer to design, administer, and secure mission-critical Linux infrastructure across Capabilities and Operations sites. You will collaborate with customer stakeholders and integration teams to engineer, implement, and sustain a closed-network environment.

The role emphasizes automation, containerization (Docker/Podman/containerd), scripting (Bash/Python) and thorough documentation, offering ownership of complex operational challenges while supporting

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Linux CLI, utilities and admin tools.
• Experience administering Linux-based systems and scripting in Bash/Python.
• Familiar with STE/STN security compliance requirements.
• Familiar with Cisco networking basics and switch configuration.
• Experience with containerization: Docker, Podman, containerd.
• Ability to document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guides.
