Job summary

GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to tackle complex technical challenges and keep mission-critical infrastructure secure and efficient. In this role, you will collaborate with customer stakeholders and system integration teams to engineer, administer, optimize, and sustain a secure, closed-network environment spanning Capabilities and Operations.

You will gain hands-on experience with Linux systems, automation, containerization, networking, and security technologies while

Qualifications

Proficiency with the Linux CLI and system administration tools.
Experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
Experience developing Bash and Python automation scripts for automation and maintenance.
Familiarity with STE/STN security policies and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with Cisco networking basics and troubleshooting.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Podman/containerd).
Ability to create clear, accessible technical documentation.

Responsibilities
