Job summary
GIGATEC Engineering is seeking an Infrastructure-focused Software Engineer to build, automate, and maintain HPC-focused infrastructure software on Linux systems. You will automate complex tasks and improve operational efficiency within secure, scalable compute environments.
The role requires hands-on work with Linux, Python, Bash, container technologies, and DCIM/IAM toolchains. A Top Secret clearance and polygraph completion are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.
Qualifications
- Infrastructure-focused role requiring Linux CLI and scripting skills.
- Bash scripting to automate manual tasks and workflows.
- Python development experience for infrastructure tooling.
- Familiarity with DCIM tools such as NetBox.
- Experience with secret management like HashiCorp Vault.
- Identity and access management tools such as Keycloak.
- Containerization tech including Docker/Podman/containerd.
- Automation with Ansible for deployment orchestration.
- CI/CD concepts and hands-on with GitLab CI/Jenkins.
