Job summary

GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) DevOps activities and to develop and maintain diverse IaC solutions. The role emphasizes automation and efficiency to shorten lead times and improve reliability across builds and deployments.

Applicants must have experience with Linux command-line tools, Bash/Python scripting, and CI/CD practices, including Docker and Containerd, Git, and a range of CI systems.

Qualifications

• Using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Bash/Python scripting to automate provisioning of HPC systems.
• CI/CD pipelines design, automation, and best practices.
• Managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI or CircleCI.
• IaC principles and automation using Ansible.
• Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains.
• Experience with Docker and Containerd.
• Experience with Git source control system.

Responsibilities

• Support IaC DevOps activities and develop/maintain IaC solutions.
• Focus on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase build/deployment reliability.
