Job summary

Infrastructure Support Engineer - Buy-Side Hedge Fund - New York - Up to $200k TC

A New York hedge fund is hiring an Infrastructure Support Engineer to look after its office technology and end user infrastructure.

This is a hands‑on role. Level 1 support is run by an external managed service provider, and you will oversee that relationship and improve how it works rather than sit behind it. Beyond that, you own the physical and systems side of the office: AV installed by third parties that you will support day to day, access control, UniFi networking and general systems.

You will also run projects with minimal supervision, so you need to be comfortable taking something from brief to done without being chased. Communication matters here, with users, with the managed service provider and with the wider technology team.

• Citrix, at a fundamental level
• Experience providing a white glove service to senior stakeholders (PMs, Traders, senior staff).
• VDI or alternative compute environments
