Gardant is seeking an Infrastructure Support Specialist to support, maintain, and enhance the core infrastructure systems that power our Communities. This role will support the Columbus Ohio region.Responsibilities:Monitors and supports performance of network (LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, wireless), phone, nurse call alert, and other essential infrastructure systemsDesigns and implements the Ethernet/phone cabling designPerforms regular system checks and proactively resolve issues to prevent downtimeResponds to infrastructure incidents, implement corrective actions, and follow proper escalation proceduresInstalls, configures, and maintains infrastructure equipment and cabling to meet high quality standardsApplies patches, updates, and upgrades to infrastructure components in a timely mannerImplements and tests configuration and data backup strategies and disaster recovery proceduresMaintains accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and incident resolutionMaintains detailed records of infrastructure configurations, incidents, and changes.Ensure that infrastructure complies with security policies and regulatory requirements while monitoring for security vulnerabilitiesMonitors systems for security vulnerabilities and implement protective measuresAssists in infrastructure audits and security assessments, remaining current with evolving technologies and industry best practicesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required3+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure supportFamiliarity with IT security standards and compliance frameworksFamiliarity with Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and other network infrastructure, analog and VOIP phone systems, and wiring standards for low voltage deploymentsIndustry certifications such as CCNA, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ are a plusOccasional travel may be required - Must hold valid driver’s license in good driving record as determined by the insurance carrierBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packagesEmployee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Employer-subsidized gym membership & wellness programEAP & Maven family planning program401(k) with biweekly employer matchOutside-In Employee Referral ProgramIntentional work-life balance supported with competitive Paid Time OffSelf-service payroll & tools (PayCom)
