Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Supervisor to lead IT infrastructure teams, drive strategic projects, and ensure secure, reliable technology across the organization.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business stakeholders and continuous improvement of systems and processes. The candidate should have strong OS, cloud, and security expertise, plus experience in multi-tier architectures and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 6+ years of experience including systems and network engineering.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, cloud technologies, security applications and networking.
• Strong knowledge of multi-tier architectures (load balancers, proxies, caching, web servers, app servers, databases).
• Experience with automation and configuration management in infrastructure.

Pay Range: $86,260 - 138,906 annually (depending on experience and location)

As NFM's Infrastructure Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping the technology that powers our business running smoothly and securely. You'll lead a talented team of IT professionals while shaping the future of our infrastructure environment, driving technology improvements, and delivering solutions that support our customers and coworkers across the organization. This position requires the candidate to reside in NE, IA, KS, MO, or TX. Final candidates will be required to come on-site prior to receiving an offer or on their first day of employment.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Lead: Guide infrastructure operational planning and strategic projects while effectively managing and allocating IT resources to support business needs
• Collaborate: Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and implement technology solutions that drive organizational success
• Oversee: Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of infrastructure hardware and software
• Optimize: Ensure efficient and effective utilization of technology resources, equipment, and personnel across the organization
• Recommend: Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic recommendations that support IT investments and innovation
• Direct: Oversee infrastructure reporting, documentation, compliance, and operational best practices to maintain a secure and reliable technology environment
• Mentor: Develop, coach, and support team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
• 6+ years’ experience including systems and network engineering
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of Operating Systems, Cloud Technologies (private/public), Security Applications and Networking
• Strong technical knowledge of multi-tier architectures: load balancers, proxies, caching, web servers, application servers and databases
• Knows the role of automation, modern dev services for source control and configuration management in technology infrastructure
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
• In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and law
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, team mentoring and leadership
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel between NFM locations as business needs require
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the USA on a full-time basis. NFM will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position
