  • 10 years of mainframe infrastructure experience as a technologist / operations / engineering
  • 5 years of Mainframe Infrastructure managerial leadership with direct report managers/supervisors who have team members.
  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in infrastructure technology management
  • Proficiencies in project management and technical knowledge
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  • P&L responsibility
  • Expansion of services to fill all gamut s of infrastructure-increase breadth.
  • Focus on project opportunities and transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Manages functional areas and other managers or department leads in regional capability to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Identifies and manages the implementation of process improvements.
  • Manages and develops demand forecasts with account teams on large accounts to assist functional areas or departments in planning and delivering end-to-end services.
  • Works with functional areas or departments to interpret and plan projects or workload forecasts.
  • Provides advice and counsel regarding various results.
  • Prepares, recommends, and oversees development of rates, operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops, and recommends variances.
  • Manages and approves expenditures for regional capability in line with established policies and procedures.
  • Manages complex relationships between delivery and consumer groups to ensure good client relations.
  • Resolves issues and determines and implements appropriate course of action.
  • Identifies and manages service improvements to increase customer and account satisfaction. Manages and ensures delivery of projects meet client and company expectations and needs.
  • Partners with functional areas or departments to integrate new, enhanced, and existing service offerings for accounts.
  • Participates in developing new business solutions/proposals and introduces new technology to enhance business solutions.
  • Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees.
  • Manage or lead teams responsible for infrastructure services and oversee their daily activities.
  • Support in the development and execution of infrastructure strategies and projects.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams or customers to understand and address their infrastructure needs.
  • Implement and adhere to infrastructure best practices and standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining infrastructure documentation.
  • Participate in optimizing resource allocation for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
