Alibaba Cloud is seeking an Infrastructure Operations SRE to own infra operations and stability platform engineering. The role covers day-to-day operations of Kubernetes clusters, databases and middleware, and application releases and changes, as well as data onboarding and operations for Infra stability platforms, ensuring business platforms run stably in an independent cloud environment.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between $145,200/year and $238,000/year.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years in infra operations or SRE.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting in Shell/Python; Kubernetes and cloud-native monitoring experience.
• Proficient in at least one database or middleware such as MySQL, Redis, or Kafka; HA, backup/restore knowledge.
• Development skills in Python/Go/Java; ability to build automation tools and platform features.
• Familiar with release/change processes and gateway configuration management; change/rollback practices.
• Strong security awareness; incident response fundamentals and vulnerability remediation.
• Ownership, collaboration, and communication; ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor Kubernetes clusters, databases, and middleware; manage capacity and alerts.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform fault isolation, and scale or repair components.
• Maintain backups and DR drills for databases and middleware.
• Own application releases and configuration changes; enable elastic scaling.
• Manage permissions and account synchronization for infra systems.
• Support security operations, incident response, and postmortems.
• Ensure platform stability and high availability across the cloud environment.
