Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 5 years engineering experience in transportation or related industries.
• 1 year of managerial or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of QA/QC innovations and trends.
• Experience with reports, cost estimates, plans, specs.
• Knowledge of relevant federal/state/local regulations (FTA, FRA, etc.).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for infrastructure maintenance and projects.
• Develop metrics and analytical tools to measure quality program performance.
• Ensure compliance with MBTA policies and regulations.
• Provide QA/QC engineering support to project managers during planning, design, construction.
• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings to inform decisions.
• Coordinate with engineers, operations, and consultants to improve requirements.
• Communicate findings and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support supplier management to ensure on-time and on-budget launches.
