Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Five years of engineering experience in transportation, signals & communications, capital asset management, facilities management, or related.
• One year of managerial, supervisory, or leadership experience with a diverse workforce.
• Knowledge of QA/QC innovations and trends in electrical/Signal/Communication/track/facility engineering design and development.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations (FTA, FRA, DOT, OSHA).
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for infrastructure audits, inspections, and performance analysis.
• Develop metrics to measure QA/QC program performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to ensure standards are met.
• Provide QA/QC engineering support to project managers during planning and construction.
• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings to inform QA/QC decisions.
• Report QA/QC performance to MBTA senior managers and stakeholders.
