Position: Infrastructure Project Manager (Job Id: WLPTJP00047001)

Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension

• Works with business partners to identify and implement multiple technical projects of varying sizes, as defined by Company methodology, such as broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development, building enterprise applications or data warehouse planning and development.
• Manages projects at least $1M in size or equal complexity.
• Directs system analysts, software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
• Works with moderate guidance and is responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems. Operates within defined parameters using project management methodology.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: manages the development of a prescribed planning document; develops project charter; partners with sponsors to secure project approval; develops communication management plan; defines project team roles and responsibilities, develops work plan structure and project schedule; develops deployment plan; leads project meetings; identifies, documents and prioritizes scope changes and facilitates approval process; maintains and updates all project documents; secure the appropriate skill sets for project; sets and manages expectations with resource managers and team members; provides performance feedback to team members and resource managers; maintains issue log; facilitates resolution of issues; executes communication plans; regularly reports status of reports; manages and monitors ROI throughout the project lifecycle; tracks and manages time and budget against plan; develops testing strategy; conduct project close-out activities; prepares and participates in quality review checkpoints; obtain/secure and archive necessary approvals; manage and update project plan; and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Tracking upcoming deliverables and identifying new deliverables and action items resulting from project and operational calls
• Supporting the annual review and maintenance of plans, SOPs, and other required documentation
• Supporting daily production operations, associated team communications and managing Prod Supt type of Jira tickets
• Monitoring dashboard reports and Glue jobs for errors and coordinating follow-up when issues are identified
• Coordinating and tracking change requests and change cards including the CCB
• Supporting QA and BA activities as needed
• Maintaining Confluence documentation and ensuring project and operational information remains current
• Supporting automation opportunities and related implementation activities while working with the scrum teams
• Identifying process gaps and coordinating improvements to address those gaps
• Performing quality reviews of project, operational, and process documentation

Position Requirements:

• PMP certified, Agile Certifications, SAFe experience a plus, must have infrastructure experience. This is a customer facing position. Strong communication skills required.
• Networking, servers, storage, cloud, data centers, and infrastructure dependencies
• Coordinate deliverables across engineering, security, application, and operations teams
• Proactive identification, escalation, mitigation, and tracking of technical delivery risks
• Executive reporting, technical discussions, status updates, and decision facilitation
• Dashboards, workflows, dependency tracking, and reporting
• Managing projects from initiation through deployment, validation, and operational handoff.
• Understanding how network, server, firewall, storage, security, and application changes affect delivery schedules.
• Other info: This role could be extended to two years depending on the contract being extended. I can only commit to one year at this time.
• The candidate should reside in Indianapolis. Other from the project team come into Lytle weekly.
• Schedule varies with production and maintenance releases. Some weekends and evenings.
• This role will require some weekends and evenings. We try to limit OT. So if they are working Friday night into Saturday morning, they can leave early on Friday or come in late on Monday. They just need to communicate that to me.
