About the Role We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with deep expertise in large-scale Infrastructure efforts to lead complex transformation initiatives in enterprise environments. This is a high-impact role responsible for planning, executing, and delivering on-premises to cloud (and hybrid) migrations while ensuring minimal business disruption, strong governance, and alignment with enterprise standards.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, enterprise architects, cloud engineering teams, security, and application owners in a matrixed, large-scale organization (typically Fortune 500 / multi-billion revenue enterprises).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major cloud migration programs (IaaS, PaaS, lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring initiatives) across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
  • Define and execute comprehensive migration strategies, including assessment, planning, wave sequencing, cutover rehearsals, rollback planning, and hypercare support.
  • Manage complex, multi-million dollar projects involving data center decommissioning, legacy infrastructure retirement, and enterprise-wide cloud adoption.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between application teams, infrastructure engineers, security, compliance, finance, and third-party vendors.
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks; proactively manage scope, schedule, and budget deviations.
  • Facilitate executive-level status reporting, steering committee meetings, and go/no-go decisions.
  • Champion continuous improvement of migration methodologies, templates, tools, and lessons learned across the organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive project/program management experience in IT infrastructure and/or cloud environments.
  • Proven track record managing on-prem → cloud transitions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including lift-and-shift, re-hosting, re-platforming, and modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments — networking, compute, storage, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), Active Directory, security, backup & DR, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, Government, Insurance) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex stakeholder landscapes (C-level, global teams, external partners).
