Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in IT Managed Services and a strong engineering background to lead and deliver complex IT and infrastructure projects. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic planning, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of managed services projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing client relationships, overseeing service delivery, and optimizing IT operations for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Service Delivery Management:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of Managed Services projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
  • Oversee service transition, implementation, and ongoing support for IT infrastructure, cloud, and network services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design, deploy, and optimize managed service solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of business objectives.
  • Manage expectations, resolve escalations, and provide strategic guidance to clients on service improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to enhance service offerings.

Technical & Engineering Oversight:

  • Utilize engineering expertise to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Support the development and deployment of solutions related to cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive ITIL-based service management processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall service delivery.
  • Implement automation and best practices to improve operational performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within an IT Managed Services or MSP environment.
  • Strong engineering background in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, networking, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience managing projects involving cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise networks, or IT security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and PMP methodologies.
  • Experience with vendor management, service contracts, and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
