Job summary

NetGain Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer for our Professional Services team. You will lead end‑to‑end infrastructure deployments with a defined SOW, working closely with the PMO from kickoff through closeout.

Expect a mix of remote delivery and periodic client-site work, focusing on Windows Server, virtualization, and firewall configurations. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on IT experience in infrastructure; MSP or project delivery focus.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server and at least one major virtualization platform (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Strong firewall configuration and network troubleshooting skills (Fortinet preferred).
• Willingness to travel to client sites and follow a defined project plan.

Responsibilities

• Execute infrastructure implementation projects end-to-end from kickoff to closeout.
• Deploy Windows Server environments (2016–2022) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Configure firewall platforms and manage network buildouts across client environments.
• Document completed work and communicate progress with the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with clients on-site and remotely to deliver results within scope.
