Job summary

Vortex Companies, a fast-growing infrastructure leader in trenchless technologies, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support bid, estimating, and contract administration while coordinating across office and field teams. You will help set up projects, track schedules, and monitor budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Exposure to underground utilities, pipeline, or industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-bid activities, document review, scope coordination, and bid preparation.
• Set up and maintain project files, ensuring documentation is current and accessible.
• Support scheduling, tracking milestones, and identifying project risks.
• Review invoices, change orders, and cost estimates for alignment with scope.
• Coordinate field, client, and subcontractor communications across teams.
• Support reporting, cost tracking, and general project operations.
